The “Final”, Final Frontier

Wait, I’ve just realised: no more space shuttles? But how else are we going to go into space, discover new worlds, fall in love with green skinned space babes, to boldly go where no one has gone before?

According to the wiki page… Erm… We’re not? Replacements for the shuttle seem few and far between. Space travel in the west* seems to be now relying Russia and China to do its dirty work.

Unless you’re OK with the concept of private space flight, in which case it seems that the next trip to Mars is going to feature customs officers, in flight movies, and will stop at the moon and expect you to make the rest of the journey yourself.

Goodbye, sweet shuttle.

* And thus the food deliveries for the astronauts actually living in space at the moment. At this very moment!
