Progress on multiple fronts! Not only are people from the UK slightly less terrified about the prospect of nuclear fission power stations than the rest of the world (yes, that’s a good thing: just), but the UK based Rutherford Appleton Lab has joined forces with a number of other outputters of good science to help make nuclear FUSION power stations a reality. Maybe there’s hope for science after all…

Oh wait; as the first article points out, I’m statistically likely to think these are both good things…

Damn you statistical likelihoods!!
